Quatrefoil – Infrapacific

Croatia’s Quatrefoil is presenting Infrapacific, an excellent blend of ambient, drone, field recordings, and subtle melodies.

“Our friend went on a trip down the Pacific coast of North America, Alaska to Tijuana. He was sending pics and videos as he was traveling and in one video you could hear a few seconds of a lovely singing voice. That sparked the idea to mine all of those videos for sounds that, processed and with added instrumentation, became “Infrapacific”. The end result feels like another trip down the same coast, imagined from halfway across the world, through the ocean’s shallows, just below the water’s surface.
