Milieu – Communion II

Milieu is a sound artist from Dayton, Ohio. He is well-known for his long-from ambient recordings and sleep-building releases. Under his monikers Milieu, Coppice Halifax, Limestone Ziggurat etc. he has released hundreds of albums and soundtracks for games, films and television.

As a twin of April’s Blissed Communion, Communion II is another meditative and generative long-form recording divided into three pieces.

Milieu transmutes the rural and seaside elements of his surroundings
into synaesthetic melody and texture, often producing dense layers of sonic compost and colorful reams of psychedelia.
