Violinist Hoshiko Yamane and a noise ambient sound artist Makoto Sakamoto their collaborative album, “Aus einer getrennten Welt,” This innovative project combines the expressive range of the electric violin with the expansive textures of synthesizers and mixers, resulting in a captivating auditory experience.

“Aus einer getrennten Welt” features two tracks „tiefstes Inneres“ and „herumtastend“. Each track was performed in real-time and recorded in Berlin, capturing the spontaneity and raw energy of the duo’s creative process. The album blends Hoshiko’s masterful violin performance with Makoto’s intricate ambient soundscapes, creating a unique fusion of classical and experimental music.

“Working together on this album has been an incredible journey,” says Hoshiko Yamane. “The interplay between the violin and electronic elements opened up new dimensions of sound that we were eager to explore.”

Hoshiko Yamane, a classically trained violinist also music composer and member of the iconic German electronic music band “Tangerine Dream”, brings her diverse musical background to the project. Her work spans classical, electronic, and experimental genres, earning her acclaim for her innovative approach to the violin.

Makoto Sakamoto, one of a pioneering artist in the noise ambient music scene in Berlin, complements Hoshiko’s violin with his skillful manipulation of sound through synthesizers and mixers. Makoto is known for creating immersive auditory landscapes that experimentation challenge and expand the boundaries of conventional music.

Together, Hoshiko and Makoto blend their distinct styles to create a captivating sound that explores new dimensions of musical expression.
